South Korean shares fell more than 3 per cent as the escalating US-Iran conflict pushed up oil prices and bond yields, raising concerns over the economic outlook. The KOSPI dropped 3.13%, with Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and LG Energy Solution among the major decliners. Foreign investors were net sellers of 890.2 billion won ($649.8 million) in shares. The Korean won strengthened 0.35% against the dollar, while three- and 10-year government bond yields rose.
