India Business News: NEW DELHI: ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned 66.68 MW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of battery energy storage capacity in Bikaner, Rajasthan, takin.
NEW DELHI: ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned 66.68 MW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of battery energy storage capacity in Bikaner, Rajasthan, taking its operational renewable energy capacity to around 3,057 MW and battery storage capacity to 4.16 GWh.Through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Pvt Ltd, the company has commissioned the first phase of a 300 MW solar project at Kelan village. The project is part of ACME Solar’s first hybrid project, which combines 300 MW of solar and 100 MW of wind capacity. The company expects to commission the remaining solar capacity by the end of Q3 FY27.ACME Solar said it has signed a power purchase agreement for the hybrid project with NTPC, while PFC is providing long-term project financing.Separately, through its subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Pvt Ltd, the company has commissioned 53.63 MW/300 MWh of the battery storage component of its firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project at the same site. The project has a planned BESS capacity of 300 MW/1,581 MWh.The FDRE project has a PPA with SJVN and long-term financing from REC. The company expects to commission the entire BESS capacity by Q3 of the current fiscal.With the latest commissioning, ACME Solar’s operational BESS capacity has crossed 4 GWh, reaching 4.16 GWh.Get the latest Business News and Live updates.
