Who Is Susan Dell? Billionaire Tech CEO’s Wife Goes Viral Following Oval Office Appearance

Susan Dell , the wife of billionaire tech CEO Michael Dell , has gone viral after appearing alongside President Donald Trump during an Oval Office press event.

Susan, 62, met her husband, 61, in 1988 in Austin, Texas, and the pair married the following year. Michael would go on to make a fortune with his company, Dell Technologies.

"He was the nicest guy I'd ever met," she told Texas Monthly in August 2000.

The happy couple went on to welcome four children: daughters Alexa, Kira and Juliette, and son Zachary.

Throughout her adulthood, Susan transitioned from fashion designer to philanthropist. She later served on president George W. Bush 's Council for Physical Fitness and Sports.

Since launching their Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in 1999, the couple has given away $10 billion to various nonprofits, per their website .

Their latest pledge comes in the form of $6.25 billion to Trump's Trump Accounts — tax-advantaged investment accounts for U.S. children under the age of 18.

"Over the past month, as our contribution has reached millions of children's accounts, Michael and I have heard from so many parents and kids and grandparents with these beautiful letters that have truly moved us," Susan said during an appearance in the Oval Office on Wednesday, October 7, per USA Today . "Children have told us that they want to become entrepreneurs. They want to become nurses, doctors, engineers. They want to build their own company someday."
