KRIBHCO reports Rs 825 crore pre-tax profit in FY26, declares 20% dividend

NEW DELHI: Fertiliser cooperative KRIBHCO reported a pre-tax profit of Rs 824.68 crore for the financial year 2025-26 and declared a 20 per cent dividend on the equity capital of its member cooperative societies.The results were announced after the society's annual accounts were approved at its 46th Annual General Body Meeting in New Delhi on Friday.KRIBHCO produced 21.34 lakh metric tonnes of urea and 12.39 lakh metric tonnes of ammonia during FY26, achieving capacity utilisation of 97.26% and 99.36%, respectively. It sold 45.37 lakh MT of fertilisers during the year, including urea and phosphatic and potassic fertilisers.The cooperative's wholly owned subsidiary, KRIBHCO Fertilizers Ltd (KFL), produced 11.02 lakh MT of urea and 6.68 lakh MT of ammonia, with capacity utilisation of 127.48 per cent and 133.16 per cent, respectively. KFL declared a dividend of Rs 14.40 crore for the year.KRIBHCO Agri Business Ltd (KABL), another wholly owned subsidiary, reported a turnover of Rs 1,919.35 crore in FY26. Domestic business accounted for Rs 1,436.81 crore, while exports contributed Rs 482.54 crore.KRIBHCO said its wholly owned subsidiary KRIBHCO Green Energy Pvt Ltd is constructing two plants, in Hazira, Gujarat, and Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The plants are expected to become operational in FY27.KRIBHCO managing director SS Yadav said the cooperative and its subsidiaries had maintained high standards of production and operational efficiency.The cooperative's product portfolio includes urea, DAP, MAP, MOP, complex fertilisers, biofertilisers, compost, seeds and other farm inputs.The annual general body meeting was chaired by KRIBHCO chairman V Sudhakar Chowdary and attended by representatives of member cooperatives.You use AI every day.
