Many working families struggle to balance work and caregiving responsibilities, but a bipartisan majority on Capitol Hill are unveiling legislation seeking to make life easier for American families when it comes to paid leave, family tax credits and federal child savings accounts.

Roughly one-quarter of American workers have access to employer-provided paid family leave benefits, but disparities among state paid leave policies create compliance challenges for employers operating in multiple states.

During this timely program, we will discuss expanding access to paid leave through an innovative state-driven, public-private partnership model while creating a national framework that allows employers to administer these benefits efficiently across state lines.

We will also explore family tax credits and federal child savings accounts — two areas where lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are advancing proposals to ease costs for new families and build long-term savings for children.

Join The Hill, in partnership with American Policy Ventures Foundation, for a “Future of Supporting American Families” bipartisan summit — where we will do a deep dive into policies assisting American workers and families with lawmakers, policymakers and pollsters.

The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.
