Little League World Series championship 2026: Curaçao wins second LLWS title with 11-2 win over Henderson, Nevada

Curaçao won the 2026 Little League World Series championship with an 11-2 win over Henderson, Nevada, (representing the U.S. Mountain region) before an estimated crowd of 24,844 at Howard J. Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. Juriënsly De Windt hit a bases-loaded double to clear the bases and drive in three runs in the top of the fifth inning to blow open a game that was still in reach for Nevada at the beginning of the frame, trailing 4-2.Prior to De Windt's decisive blow, Nevada pitcher Logan Edwards loaded the bases on a Steven Felix single, Jaymiel Antonia double and intentional walk to Nathanael Jansen.
