Apple event live updates: The first foldable iPhone, iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch Series 12 and everything else revealed

September means new iPhones, and Apple is set to release a bunch of them this year. In addition to the iPhone 18 series, a foldable iPhone could be revealed at today's "Surprise and shine" event held at Apple's Cupertino headquarters. Rumors of a folding iPhone have been swirling for more than a year. If Apple does launch this smartphone, it'll be its first foldable iPhone and the device it'll use to play catch-up with the likes of Samsung and Google, both of which have been making foldables for a number of years. Plus, the show today also marks the first launch event with John Ternus as CEO, who replaced Tim Cook on September 1.New Apple Watches tend to accompany the new iPhones every year, and we expect to see at least the Apple Watch Series 12 and maybe the next iteration of the Apple Watch Ultra.
