WWE Crown Jewel 2026 results, grades, awards: Roman Reigns beats Sami Zayn; Tiffany Stratton turns on Chelsea Green
Roman Reigns and Chelsea Green won Saturday's WWE Crown Jewel 2026 matches, though Reigns' night certainly ended much better than Green's.
WWE Crown Jewel 2026 centered around two champion vs. champion showcases Saturday night at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In the evening's main event, World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns maintained his place atop the roster's pecking order, defeating his old stablemate-turned-rival, Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn, to capture the men's Crown Jewel Championship for the first time.Reigns and Zayn delivered a match that was a far cry from their showdown during the original Bloodline run. But ahead of this latest encounter, their chemistry and intensity rose to new levels — especially from Zayn, the respect-demanding WWE champion.Although Zayn came up short again, his efforts were strong, and he gained Reigns' respect in the end after surviving a spear and multiple Superman punches. He even delivered a Superman punch of his own at one point and scored a phantom pin over Reigns after a ref bump. That portion of the match appeared to be a perfect moment to signal an appearance from 946, but surprisingly, Reigns' stretch of matches in 2026 has continued to unfold without any outside interference. Today's match made it clear, this has been by design — making Reigns' inevitable loss even more impactful, because Zayn winning this one easily carried the more immediately beneficial outcome for the WWE weekly product..@WWERomanReigns just speared @SamiZayn for the win! 😱 pic.twitter.com/SXEkFCPhkz— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 The other Crown Jewel champion vs. champion clash was much more noteworthy, as Chelsea Green proved her doubters wrong with a clean win over Liv Morgan. It was a clear underdog story inside and outside of the ring, which fueled the action nicely, with Morgan waving off her typical Judgment Day interference. That ultimately cost her, even if she still hold onto her Women's World Championship in defeat..@ImChelseaGreen DID IT! 💪 pic.twitter.com/f3kheVX6MP— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 Green's celebration quickly ended though, as Money in the Bank winner — and friend-turned-enemy — Tiffany Stratton rushed the ring post-match to betray Green and steal the Women's Championship she'd already held only a year ago. NO WAY!!!Some kind of friend you are, @tiffstrattonwwe 😡 pic.twitter.com/64L3AlEgEl— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 That wasn't the only title to change hands at Crown Jewel, though. The second match of the night saw The Vision come up short in their first World Tag Team title defense, losing to Penta and Je'Von Evans. It was the fastest-paced match of the show, and looked like a spotty victory for The Vision once Bronson Reed made his presence felt. That was until a surprise appearance from Oba Femi evened the odds, leading to Austin Theory taking Penta's Destroyer and Evans' OG Cutter for the loss.LET'S GO!!!!Congratulations @PENTAELZEROM and @WWEJeVonEvans!! 👏 pic.twitter.com/b25DJxKo02— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 In the opening action of the day, Cody Rhodes was indeed the last man standing, outlasting longtime friend/rival Randy Orton in the pair's blow-off match. It was a slow, plodding weapon-spot-fest, as one would have expected. But Rhodes ultimately got the job done by tapping into his dark side, which became a major story beat of this feud. With a trio of Cross Rhodes and a punt to the head, "The Viper" was slayed..@CodyRhodes just PUNTED @RandyOrton! 🤯 pic.twitter.com/GRfEmfuNcX— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 Though it's not quite the glorified house show it used to be, this year's Crown Jewel was still largely predictable and flat, thanks to the circumstances. It wasn't bad; it just could've been much, much better with a few tweaks here and there.WWE Crown Jewel 2026 crown score: 👑 6.5/10 👑WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Uncrowned AwardsMVP of the Day: Oba FemiThe "King of not the Ring" is a new nickname that we can't let slide when it comes to big man Femi. Because before tonight, the guy hadn't been seen on TV since his Oct. 16 win over Bronson Reed. So, in kayfabe, he for some reason decided to fly all the way over to Saudi Arabia for this moment, rather than helping his friends against his enemies in recent weeks? As illogical and overbooked as the end of this tag match was, it highlighted how much of the MVP Femi is. He's a big deal. An X-Factor. That's why he was treated as such in this spot. We all know his championship reign is inevitable, even as fans are chanting his name in the main event. It would be nice to see progress toward that, but until then, WWE's biggest and best act at the moment will remain treading water in no-man's land..@Obaofwwe is HERE and he took out @BRONSONISHERE 😱 pic.twitter.com/k595gXCJgJ— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 Uncrowned Gem of the Night: The Vision vs. Penta and Je'Von EvansOutside of the match finish, that tag-team match was pretty good. It's hard to get a bad match out of three of these four wrestlers, and I'll let you guess who the odd man out is. (Spoiler: He ate the pin.)It almost felt like this match was trying to remind WWE itself that it does indeed have tag-team wrestling — that the folks in charge are allowed to make good tag-team wrestling and make tag-team wrestling matter. Of course, will it with a new pair of champions who are just "guy" and "another guy"? Probably not. But Penta and Evans are still a very fun stylistic duo.Match of the Night: Roman Reigns vs. Sami ZaynThe main event was nothing spectacular, especially by the standard Reigns has set this year. And that might actually be the problem that affected the match the most — it's all become very, very formulaic with Reigns, down to the point that every match starts the exact same way with dragging staredowns and stalling showmanship. However, the back half of today's main event was quite enjoyable and made Zayn look really good, which was the goal even in defeat. Should he have won? Absolutely. But still, for what it was, it was a slight notch above the two matches that preceded it.Spot of the Night: Sami Zayn's Helluva Kick to Roman Reigns mid-emoteGoing back to the main event, one moment really stood out. As Reigns was doing his signature spear-signaling shout, Zayn rushed him for a picture-perfect Helluva Kick. Ideally, that could have been a match finisher, if you shifted sections of the match around..@WWERomanReigns was NOT ready for that 😬 pic.twitter.com/aCRTXnlebW— WWE (@WWE) November 7, 2026 WWE Crown Jewel 2026 full card results and grades:WWE Crown Jewel Championship: Roman Reigns def.
