College football live updates, scores: Houston vs. Utah wraps up Week 8 after Texas' win over Ole Miss

Week 8's slate of games didn't look too appetizing heading into Saturday, but it's already delivered in a big way with a slew of upsets. The Big 12 became the weekend's battleground as No. 2 BYU and No. 8 Texas Tech both fell in stunning fashion in road games. Unranked Cincinnati knocked off No. 8 Texas Tech 37-24, handing the Red Raiders their first loss of the season. Then, later, No. 2 BYU and UCF had a Big 12 battle for the ages. It ended with a fourth-down stop by the Knights in double overtime for a 39-31 win, but that doesn't tell the half of the story. Elsewhere, No. 15 Iowa fell to Minnesota on a last-second kick in Minneapolis. No. 6 Indiana survived a big scare in the Big House, eking out a 13-6 overtime win over Michigan, and South Carolina toppled No. 11 Tennessee as time expired.Arch Manning, Steve Sarkisian and No. 19 Texas seemed to have their backs against the wall coming into their SEC showdown with No. 7 Ole Miss, but the Longhorns held off a late rally to beat the Rebels 34-27.In the nightcap, No. 14 Houston takes on No. 10 Utah in Salt Lake City.
