WWE Raw results, grades (Sept. 21): Penta wins chaotic MITB qualifier after Solo Sikoa abducted mid-show

"WWE Raw" returned to San Antonio's Frost Bank Center this Monday, Sept. 21, after a fantastic evening last week in Mexico City. This week's show was a proper follow-up, setting the table for an exciting immediate future.😱 Abduction of the Night!So, this is the most perfectly "wrestling thing" ever. We can't really get into the meat of this episode without starting with a literal abduction.It all centered around 946, who are suddenly the serious version of the old, questionably themed tag-team Cryme Tyme. If you know, you know. Since their big debut as a trio, Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price have done next to nothing of substance other than perform backstage attacks or film "warning" videos — until tonight, when they literally abducted Solo Sikoa mid-show, effectively removing him from his Money in the Bank qualifier match in the evening's main event.WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!? 😱Solo Sikoa has been TAKEN!!! pic.twitter.com/goDZBxaN8p— WWE (@WWE) September 22, 2026 Now, this is admittedly really dumb. There's no good reason for Keys, the source of this stable, to be pursuing Sikoa and/or LA Knight other than sheer pettiness. The whole genesis of his issues were from the freaking Bloodline, so why he isn't specifically targeting them is beyond me — but it's now bringing the Bloodline, Sikoa and Knight together in a loose, unexpected way.Unless 946 gets a few more additional members, they're foolishly setting themselves up for a three-against-six war if you include Roman Reigns. Internet chatter suggests Jacob Fatu is secretly aiding 946, but may I remind you that he was the one who put Keys out in the first place.Does that mean it won't happen? No. Would that make it make sense? Also definitely not. He even addressed exactly what I just alluded to, which was a great touch. He's been a voice for everything fans have thought in recent years. This triple-threat match was a certified banger and delivered some seriously clever near-fall spots. Two of them came from Mysterio hitting 619s out of nowhere. Penta stayed focused on Reigns and the world title, which makes me think he might be the one to win it all at Money in the Bank. A Penta cash-in would be a pretty perfect way to kickstart a likely short title reign, but a fun one nonetheless. WWE is going a fresher route with many of the entrants in the upcoming ladder matches, and Roxanne Perez added her name to the list by beating Iyo Sky and La Catalina in the women's Money in the Bank qualifier.Admittedly, coming into it this grouping felt like a great way to tease Perez and Catalina's upcoming title match at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide this Saturday, while still giving Sky the win. But nope. Perez scored a clean pin over Sky with a Pop Rox after a very solid, interference-free match. At the very least, separate Perez from the group after winning and have Liv Morgan's jealousy get the best of her — or have Perez potentially cash in on Morgan if she ends up regaining the gold. There are plenty of options right now, which is always a good thing.Did you know this show has tag-team champions?You really would never know that "Raw" has tag-team champions. Because it essentially doesn't. Bron Breakker has completely separated himself into his own primary quests while, for some unknown reason, hanging onto a belt alongside Austin Theory. He's pursued Oba Femi and a world title while still being a tag-team champion. They haven't even defended the tag titles since recapturing them against the Street Profits.Honestly, just get rid of them, WWE. We know how much you don't care.And to prove it, Breakker had an "impromptu" match with Je'Von Evans that stunningly ended via a typical Vision DQ. I'm not sure what's more annoying between Vision or Judgment Day interference.OBA!! OBA!! If we really get a tag title match between Femi and Evans against the Vision out of this, it would actually be hilarious. Especially if Femi wins tag gold before going after that title shot he won through the King of the Ring.Wherever this ends up going, you'd best bet your bottom dollar Femi shows up in that Money in the Bank match to stop Breakker."Raw" has some good momentum right now.
