After a wild first few weeks of the college football season, we may have our best slate yet in Week 4. Saturday features six matchups between teams ranked in the AP Top 25.The day started with a marquee showdown between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee, and the Longhorns won rights to the ‘UT’ moniker with a tough defensive performance. Texas’ Colin Simmons tied a school record with five sacks in a 20-17 win — though he did get in a bit of trouble after his first. The action continues in the afternoon as No. 4 Ole Miss looks to avoid a letdown after its big win over LSU. The Rebels are actually road underdogs against Jon Sumrall and the new-look No. 21 Florida Gators. In the Big Ten, No. 17 Iowa and No. 18 Michigan will meet in what will assuredly be a defensive battle. The over/under in the game is the lowest of the week at 38.5.Then, in the evening, we have a trifecta of ranked-on-ranked matchups with No. 23 Texas A&M vs. No. 10 LSU, No. 20 Oregon vs. No. 12 USC and No. 19 Missouri vs. No. 24 Mississippi State.
