The Evaporator is an item you can get when you begin Probably Stolen as a Chemist. You can also unlock it when you purchase the Chemistry set, giving you access to a variety of useful tools. These can be tricky to master, especially while you're trying to run a business. In this guide, we'll be sharing with you how to use the Evaporator and best utilize it as you play Probably Stolen.
How the Evaporator Works in Probably Stolen
At its core, the Evaporator is a tool that assists in cleaning up water or any type of liquid you place into the input section. You can optionally use it in the two steps that you get in the base Chemistry 101 Guide, and in the third step for Dream Dust and the Caffeine Pill.
Following the second step of getting the chemical to the temperature range you need it to be, bring it over to the Evaporator. You'll need to stick it onto the Container portion of the object, and let it sit there. The Evaporator only works at night, and you won't be able to see the result until the next day.
After you've used it, the amount in the Container portion should be significantly less, highlighting that the water or alcohol is gone. You can then move on to the next step, allowing you to proceed to use the Chem Finisher and wrap up your recipe. The real trick is making sure to let it sit overnight and seeing it the next day.
You'll know it's worked correctly when there's a fraction of what you previously had when you put the container into your Evaporator the night before.
