Escape Walkthrough - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Guide - IGN

Once you wrap up liberating Hajin City in Counter Attack , the action takes a backset in Modern Warfare 4's thirteenth main mission Escape, which puts you back in control of Price after being captured.

Back as Price, you’re thrust into the action immediately. Take out the guard using melee attacks and blocks to catch a breather.

Make your way through the hallway and enter the first door on the left to find the note Confiscation Protocol Reminder on the desk.

Continue down the hallway and go through the door, crouching to stay quiet and using the closet to your right to hide from the enemy soldiers that round the corner. From inside the closet, peek around the corner to track their movements to know when it’s safe to go back out in the open.

Head left through the hallway the way they came, then duck into the room on the right another guard approaches. He aims to sweep that room, so make sure you continue through to the open door in the back to avoid him, otherwise it’s game over.

Crawl through the opening to get into the boiler room, but wait for the two guards here to pass before standing up.

Once it’s safe, stand up and head to the left. Take down the unaware guard here, then continue through the door. This hallway is full of locked doors, so just continue left until you get to another closet to hide in. Jump in quickly, as a couple of guards are running that way on their way to their posts.

Once they’re gone, go back out into the hallway and turn right. There’s a guard here at a help window; wait for him to leave after getting a call. Go left into the room he just left to find the note Updated Code on the desk, letting you know the new safe code is now 8410 .

Continue on, carefully not turning left into a bunch of enemy soldiers. Go right instead, and as an alarm starts to sound, duck into the dark elevator area and wait behind the pillar for more guards to pass by.

When the coast is clear, keep going this way. There’s an incinerator room on the left. Go in here and fight the guard in hand-to-hand combat, and continue towards the door on the other end to fight another one, and keep walking down the hallway to enter the interrogation room where Ghost is still being held. Bust in and block the guard’s attack, triggering a cutscene between the two former friends.

You have a handgun when you retake control of Price, but turn around and grab a Kastov 762 assault rifle off the ground. Follow Ghost out of the room and down the hallway, taking three enemies on your way up the stairs. Follow the linear path with Ghost, taking out the enemies blocking your path. There are a few more enemies once you reach the laundry room, and some even have armor on, so they’ll take a few extra hits to end.

Head through the bathrooms into the barracks, where another wave of soldiers starts shooting at you.

Take them out, and continue following Ghost towards the garage up the stairs, but first go in the room on the right immediately after the barracks to use the code 8410 on the safe to get Gaz’s dogtags, earning you the Never Forgotten achievement. Go back out the way you came and go up the stairs.

Straight ahead is a very conveniently placed arsenal of frags, semtex, ammo, a Type 73 LMG and Oris 8.6 marksman rifle for you. Swap your weapons out for these, and go through the double doors into the garage.

You start getting pelted as soon as you open the door, so be prepared. There are explosive barrels around for you to take out multiple enemies at once, as well as two attack dogs to be on the lookout for.

After clearing the garage, head upstairs to the control room (the room with the red light). Ghost calls out as the door is slammed shut, and an armored enemy busts through the other door across from you dropping gas that distorts your vision. As Ghost fights for his life alone, head through the room to fight another couple of armored soldiers.

Head to the control panel and hit the button to open the garage doors, allowing Ghost to make his escape. Unfortunately, Price isn’t so lucky.
