Oogie Boogie's Big Game Walkthrough - Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide - IGN
Oogie Boogie's Big Game is the final Quest in the Quest series required to unlock Oogie Boogie as a Villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This Quest
Oogie Boogie's Big Game is the final Quest in the Quest series required to unlock Oogie Boogie as a Villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley . This Quest initially released on October 28, 2026. To start it, you must complete all previous Oogie Boogie Quests , up through Let the Games Begin , and then wait for another letter from Oogie Boogie to show up in your Mailbox.
Important PSA for Unlocking Oogie Boogie
If you want to unlock Oogie Boogie in 2026, you MUST begin his first Quest, A Halloween Invasion , no later than November 4, 2026. Once you have begun the first Quest, the other five can be completed at any time once they have unlocked.
As long as you have STARTED A Halloween Invasion, you will be able to unlock Oogie Boogie, even if you finish up the Quest chain after November 4.
If you missed out on Oogie Boogie in 2026, he will return to the Valley in October 2027 !
Oogie Boogie's letter says that it is time to settle things once and for all, so head through the Mirror in Scrooge's Store to enter the trickster's lair one last time. Head up the stairs and talk to Oogie Boogie, who will be at the top of the left staircase waiting for you.
The Boogieman has set up your final show down - you will play a board game. If you win, he will join the Valley. If he wins, he will turn the Valley into a realm of nightmares. The game consists of traveling around the game board while answering questions.
Step on each tile and select "Interact" to have Oogie Boogie ask you a question. Red tiles are general trivia questions, blue tiles are questions that involve looking at pictures, and green tiles are questions about Oogie Boogie himself. Blue tiles will require you to pick up a Memory to see the picture you need to look at. There are a total of 11 Questions, and you must answer them all correctly to win the quiz.
While you must get every question correctly to win, Oogie Boogie is surprisingly nice - he will let you try again as many times as you want. If you want to leave to do something else or go look around the Valley for answers, you can select "I'm getting out of here" at any time. You can then restart from your current tile whenever you like. Your current tile will be marked with a black question mark token.
More detailed information and hints about each question are provided later in this guide, but if you just want to see the answers, they are listed below
Question: Where in the Valley can you find Dandelions?
Dandelions are bright yellow flowers . They are found in one of the first Biomes you will encounter when entering Dreamlight Valley
Question: How many purple stars are there?
Pick up the Memory to see the picture, which shows the inside of the Dream Castle with several purple stars floating around. You can also see the picture on a screen next to Oogie Boogie. The purple stars you need to count are on the left side of the image.
Question: What is my (Oogie Boogie's) favorite type of stew?
You made this stew for Oogie Boogie during one of his previous Quests, The Oogie Boogie Contract ! You had to use replacement ingredients like seaweed and bananas, because the things it was made out of aren't found in the Valley!
This tile starts out blue, indicating a picture question - but, when you interact with it, Oogie Boogie turns it green and asks another question about himself instead!
Question: What do I (Oogie Boogie) have for a tongue?
Oogie Boogie's body is made from bugs inside a burlap sack , but it's not JUST bugs. What creepy critter is long and skinny enough to work as a tongue - and scares children whenever Oogie Boogie opens his mouth?
Question: How many ponds do you have in the Peaceful Meadow?
There is a large pond on one side of the Peaceful Meadow , and multiple small ponds on the other side. Step away from the board and take a look at the Map if you need to count them again!
This is another picture question, so pick up the Memory to get a closer look at the picture (or look at it on the screen next to Oogie Boogie.) The eggs are in a carton in the center of the picture . There are no hidden eggs outside the carton.
Once again, Oogie Boogie changes the color of the tile - this time, from red to green.
Question: Who is my (Oogie Boogie's) archnemesis?
The answer is another Villager who lives in Dreamlight Valley. He's named after the kind of creature he resembles. Take a careful look at how the answers are spelled, as there are some "almost right" options!
Question: Where can you see me late at night, even if I'm nowhere near you?
If you're struggling with this question, rewatch the opening scene of The Nightmare Before Christmas, where the song "This is Halloween" is performed. Where does Oogie Boogie show up when he sings his lines during the song? It's somewhere where Oogie Boogie can easily keep an eye on all of Halloween Town !
Question: What does Scrooge wear on his head?
Scrooge isn't much of a sports fan, so it's probably not a baseball cap. He's quite the high-class gentleman , so what is the most dignified and fancy of the options you have?
Question: How many potions are on Merlin's desk?
Merlin's desk is quite cluttered, but most of the items, such as the books, are a distraction. The potions you need to count are all purple in color. There is not enough room on the desk for a large number of potions.
For the final question, you need to talk to Oogie Boogie directly, rather than interacting with a tile.
Question: Other than Jack, who else is a huge thorn in my side?
This is primarily a spelling question. Avoid the spelling you're used to - it's a trick! Remember that, in the film The Nightmare Before Christmas, to get the people of Halloween Town interested in Christmas, Jack needed to make Santa sound scarier than he actually is, by giving him a scary name.
Welcome Oogie Boogie to Dreamlight Valley
You've gotten all the questions right! Oogie Boogie is furious, but he's willing to uphold the deal he made. He will move into the Valley as soon as you put down a House for him.
Leave Oogie Boogie's Lair and return to Dreamlight Valley. The Lair will disappear when this Quest ends, so make sure you don't leave anything behind!
Using Furniture mode, place Oogie Boogie's House anywhere in the Valley. Interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign and pay the required amount of Star Coins to build the House. Star Coin prices vary depending on what order Villagers are unlocked in, with a maximum of 10,000 Star Coins for later Villagers.
Finally, take a photo with Oogie Boogie to welcome him to the Valley. Talk to him to learn that he's still planning all sorts of schemes, but is reluctantly happy to have joined the Valley at last!
