Yet Another Disney+ Price Hike Is Coming — and It's Reportedly Due This Week

Disney plans to raise the price of Disney+ this week, according to a new report.

Bloomberg said Disney+ without ads will go up by $2.50 — or 13% — to $21.49 per month. That’s closer to Netflix’s ad-free subscription, which costs $26.99 a month with 4K resolution and access on multiple devices.

According to the same report, Hulu without advertising is going up by the same amount. The ad-free subscription bundle including both Disney+ and Hulu increases by $2 to $21.99, or just 50 cents more than subscribing to each service individually.

The price rises are set to kick in today, Wednesday 23, for new subscribers, according to Bloomberg. Existing customers must pay the new prices from their next monthly bill. The ad-free Disney+ tier was just $10.99 a month just three years ago in 2023.

The news comes just days after Disney+ altered its user agreement for subscribers in Europe to clarify that ads will be allowed before and after playback on all subscription tiers . Subscribers in the U.S. have currently not received an updated agreement.

Disney+ has seen a number of price rises in recent years, most recently in October 2025. You can see the full line-up of content made available on the streaming service for September 2026 here .
