You'll receive a Wanted List within the first few days of starting your run in Probably Stolen . It's from the Security at the station, and they want you to notify them if you ever encounter any of the nine individuals shown on this list. Many of them don't use their own names, and you'll receive a reward for doing so. However, there are consequences for doing so, and the wanted individual also provides you with incentives not to do it. In this guide, we're going to break down everything you need to know about the Wanted List in Probably Stolen.

Here's a breakdown of the nine people you'll see on the Wanted List in Probably Stolen.

Arthur Lafleur is a member of the Revolution on the station. If you encounter him, he'll ask you to not call Security if you attempt to do so. However, if you do, you'll lose reputation with the Revolution, and you'll receive 100 Credits (the lowest amount on the Wanted List).

If you don't report him, and you increase your reputation with the Revolution as you play, he becomes a more frequent person who shows up. However, only if you attempt to report him once. He'll ask that you don't do that and tell you he has little to do with the current Revolution. If you let him go, he'll put in a good word for you. Of the factions, the Revolution can be the toughest to get high because of how many people you have to work through. For those who want to support the Revolution (as getting too low with them can lead to an ending), it's good to keep him around as he'll also bring you supplies that you can buy. You want to attempt to report him, but don't commit to it.

James Bailey is someone who wants to move contraband and weapons as much as possible. He's someone who will offer you various illegal items and have you move them around if you're willing to buy from him. If you don't and call Security on him, you'll receive 300 Credits as a reward.

The downside to calling Security on James is that the illegal contraband goes away. You'll have to rely on other contacts in the Black Market (if you're going down that path), and find others if you want to make money that way. Keeping James around is a good idea if you're going to have Odin. You can purchase items from James and then sell them back to Odin, giving you a good margin of buying low and selling high between these two parties.

John Smith is a regular person with an unfortunate name, and is mistaken for several other people. You can choose to call Security on him, but he says that he's already been mistaken for someone else four other times that week. If you go through with it, Security grabs him, and they pay you the 150 Credits. However, he later returns and says that he only wants to buy groceries. You can try to have him arrested again, and if he is, he returns to vandalize your shop, never to be seen again.

However, if you never have John Smith arrested at all, he continually shows up to buy food at least once a week. Given how often he appears, and how willing he is to buy food, never calling Security on John is a good idea. Plus, you don't get too many benefits from calling Security on him. It's better to have him as a customer in the long run. His budget increases every week.

Juan is someone who can appear to you with a massive amount of food at least once a week. He offers it at a discounted price. When he appears, you can threaten to report him, and he'll beg you not to do it, reminding you of how much food he's willing to offer. If you confirm with Security and get him arrested, you'll get 125 Credits.

The downside is you lose a reliable client who brings a lot of food to you. Juan regularly comes with rows of Peat, Pilk, and juice that you can buy at a lower price. For those who are working on Rat Ranching or have a fish farm, keeping Juan is great for feeding these animals without too much effort. It's good to note that Juan's food typically has Heat on it, so if you don't sell it fast, use it on your animals, or hide it in a Smuggler's Cargo Bay, a Security inspection will take it away.

Leroy is a person who comes around to 'inspect' your market stall during the day. He's dressed up like a member of the Security force, and wants to make an inspection. Regardless of what you have, he's going to steal from you. He's a character you want to call Security on immediately, and make sure he doesn't steal from you. You'll gain Security reputation for doing it.

Li Bei Wen is a chemical researcher who approaches you. He first says that he's been trying to share his drug with others, and wants to prove that it works. He asks for you to sell it, and informs you that it's a narcotic that's not as addictive. If you first see Li, you can choose to have him arrested. You'll receive 400 Credits for his capture, and he won't escape.

However, by not turning Li in, you can begin to work with him. After selling the drugs he gives you, he'll ask how they worked and say he needs more time to perfect the formula. He also needs help, and asks that you bring him Chemical supplies. He'll show up at least once a week asking for them. After he gets them, he'll disappear for a bit, but then reappear and show you his result. Plus, he tells you how to recreate the recipe, allowing you to begin making Nomore injectors.

Lou is an extremely unique case compared to the other characters on the Wanted List. Lou arrives during month two or three. When she does, she shares that she's looking for dangerous weapons, and admits that she's going to use it on a person that she's holding hostage. She also warns you about what would happen if you do call Security on her. You'll get a high amount of money for it: 1,500 Credits. However, she'll return, which is a good thing.

There's a questline you'll get by calling Security on Lou once. Then, she returns, and you start to learn more about her and what's motivating her. Although she is harming other people, you learn that many of them are bad, or even worse, than she is. You can only learn this by reporting her when she appears, so making sure to report her once is essential for this part.

Odin usually turns up a few days after you start playing Probably Stolen. He says for you to not call Security on him, and hands you a business card. If you do call Security on Odin, you'll lower your reputation with the Revolution, and you get 300 Credits.

However, if you don't, Odin becomes a valuable contact. If you ever need to increase your reputation with the Revolution, call him on his business card and you can trade him weapons, materials, crates, access cards; he'll take nearly any item you can't normally sell openly, and pays you a decent amount of money. He'll show up two days after you call, and you can call him again five days after your previous call. It's better to not call Security on Odin, and use him as a contact to exchange goods.

The Butcher can show up within your first month. He appears with a pile of meat, a bag, and some other odd items. He offers you sell you the meat, but it has no origin. If you do buy his items, you'll discover a note inside the bag from a scavenger who says someone has been following him.

Turns out, the Butcher was killing people in the Lower Levels and selling their meat back to everyone. Of all the people on the Wanted List, the Butcher is the best person to call Security on. You'll get 400 Credits for it, and you'll increase your reputation with the Lower Levels. Although the Butcher is arrested, he escapes custody a few weeks later. He prevents you from going outside at night if you don't take a gun with you, but if you can have the Underground Exchange take him out if you give them 500 Credits. It's worth it to get rid of the Butcher, and make sure he doesn't further hurt the Lower Level citizens.
