GameCube Classic Star Fox Adventures Available Via Nintendo Switch Online Today

Underappreciated GameCube classic Star Fox Adventures will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 today, as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.

Originally launched back in 2002, this adventure game raised eyebrows at the time for ditching the Star Fox franchise's usual vehicle-based shooting for something more akin to a Zelda title. But it's become something of a cult favorite in the years since, and some fans really like the character of Krystal, introduced to the series here for the first time.

In other Star Fox news, Nintendo has announced a free update coming to this year's Star Fox Switch 2 game. Soon you'll be able to play in four-player battles across three additional stages. This update is coming later this month, on September 29.
