Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale is now fully underway, and there are more than enough standout offers to get your teeth stuck into over the next couple of days. Yes, this is a remarkably short sale by Amazon's recent standards, lasting just 48 hours through October 6-7.

There are a few new Pokémon TCG items that have been restocked as part of the sale, including 30th anniversary First Partner Collections, Surging Sparks, and Perfect Order boosters, and loads more.

The selection isn't quite as spectacular as we've seen in previous restocks, such as during Pokémon Day or Labor Day, but it's still not bad at all. Let's take a look at what's up for grabs.

Pokémon TCG - Sold and Shipped by Amazon Finder

Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection—Series 3

Pokémon TCG Surging Spark – Single Booster Pack

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolutions - Perfect Order 3 Pack Blister (Chikorita)

Pokémon TCG: Hop’s Zacian ex Box - 4 Packs

2024 Pokémon TCG World Championships Deck (One Random Deck)

For now, let's start with the biggest and best finds from this Labor Day restock. Pokémon TCG's First Partner Illustration Collection Series 3 is part of Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebrations. This release marks the final chapter in the First Partner Illustration TCG Collection.

Series 1 took us back to the classic roots with Kanto (Gen 1), Sinnoh (Gen 4), and Alola (Gen 7). Series 2 took us back to the Johto (Gen 2), Unova (Gen 5), and Galar (Gen 8) regions. Series 3 officially rounds out the whole collection, bringing us the beloved first partner Pokémon from the Hoenn, Kalos, and Paldea regions.

Listed median prices for these is $34 at TCGplayer , which is bang on what Amazon is listing it for as well. Average market price is around $30-$35 (not including delivery), so Amazon is probably your best bet for these, especially if you're picking up two or three, and even more so if you're an Amazon Prime member with free speedy delivery.

Same as the other two series, inside each box, you'll score:

1 Pokémon TCG Pack: Contains 3 of 9 illustration rare-style promo cards featuring the First Partner Pokémon from Gen 3 (Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip), Gen 6 (Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie), and Gen 9 (Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly).

2 Pokémon TCG Booster Packs (pulled from Pitch Black and Chaos Rising).

1 Exclusive Sticker Sheet featuring the Collection’s starter crew.

Amazon currently has the 30th Celebration ETB listed for just $159.99 , considerable up from the $89.99 price we spotted previously. A bit annoying for those who missed out on the better deal, but Amazon having stock and still allowing invites is better than absolutely nothing.

The timing here is worth paying attention to. When we first spotted Amazon taking invite requests at below $90, the 30th Celebration set hadn't yet fully hit the market. Now that the 30th Anniversary collection is officially out, we're seeing just how difficult some of its products can be to find at a reasonable price .

The bigger problem is that requesting an invite doesn't mean Amazon will actually offer you the ETB , even if you are willing to pay the $160. The retailer previously introduced invite requests for this product in the US, an unusual move given that Amazon's US Pokémon TCG listings have traditionally been priced much closer to prevailing market prices.

Amazon also has the rare Surging Sparks boosters back in stock at what is an eye watering $17.59 per booster pack. Yeesh. TCGplayer is running these for below $10 still, so you may be better off buying from a third-party reseller in all honestly. But, the option is there at Amazon, along with all the other products in the restock, if you so desire.

But is it worth it? Only you can be the judge of that. The "market price" is often dictated by what the majority of people are willing to pay, but only you can decide if this if truely worth your money.

No matter how unfortunate it is, and how hard it is to find Pokémon TCG at MSRP , market value is often the price you have to pay now, even from big retailers like Amazon, as I mentioned.
