Amazon has recently restocked its allocation of Pokémon TCG's 30th Celebration Booster Bundles , which are currently available for $99. But is it the best deal going right now?

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Booster Bundle

Unfortunately, no, this is still above and beyond MSRP, and considerably more than Amazon was selling the booster bundles for in September ($45).

While TCGplayer is still listing the bundles at over MSRP , it is remarkably better than it was just a few weeks back. There's been a dramatic fall in market value on the 30th Anniversary boosters, dropping 35.43% in just the last month. We were seeing these go for around $120 at the end of September, but you can now pick one up, new and sealed, for about $74 on resale.

It's not great versus the $45 Amazon price we saw last month, but still a lot better than the $99 at Amazon now. I'd expect Amazon to drop their price further in the coming days, in order to shift the new stock allocation, especially since the major retailer does like to try and stick close to market rates when it can.

For $99, you're looking at $16.50 per pack (6 in total). At $74, that brings it down to $12.33 per pack. Still not wonderful, but as I said, not as bad as it could be. If anything, it might be worth holding out in case these drop even further, as I don't expect us trainers will be all too thrilled to be paying $70+ for six boosters.

The 30th anniversary set has been remarkably hard to get hold of ever since preorders went live. The set is now officially available globally, but that doesn't mean the hunt for boosters slows down any time soon.

To nobody’s surprise, the secondary market for the new set is in absolute, unadulterated chaos. Queues have stretched out the IRL doors as long as a Cycling Lane at retailers across the world .

For now, to give you an idea of where the dust is settling, we’ve also recently pulled the median market prices per TCGplayer for the top 10 highest-value cards in the set , so you know what to look out for when ripping packs. See those just below, and good luck!
