Released as part of the battle pass in Season 1 , the Cronen Osprey is a powerful Assault Rifle that, with the right attachments, offers very minimal recoil and an incredibly fast TTK that will melt your opponents. After spending several hours with the gun, I've compiled the best Cronen Osprey loadout , focusing heavily on increasing its accuracy and range, making it arguably the best gun in MW4 , even against top-tier guns like the M4 , ISO Nightshade , and Hyeon Burst .

With the following attachments, you can turn the Cronen Osprey into one of the fastest and smoothest-firing guns in MW4. These are our recommended best attachments for the Cronen Osprey:

To help ensure the Cronen Osprey melts opponents from any range, I've opted for the IO-556 TAC 18" barrel and the FSS IS300 muzzle . These provide huge increases to Muzzle Velocity and Damage Range, while also offering small reductions to ADS gun kick and ADS recoil control. To improve TTK further, I've selected the 5.56 Nato High Velocity ammunition.

While it won't be everyone's preference, I chose the Locus PX3 Canted optic because it offers a clean scope and further reduces ADS recoil and ADS gun kick by 30% and 40%, respectively. This helps the Cronen Osprey become buttery smooth, with minimal recoil. Ultimately, if you're fine with a bit of vertical recoil, you can use your preferred optic instead.

Lastly, I've chosen the 60 Round Mag to help minimize reloads while you're shredding opponents.

For transparency, this build earned me several back-to-back top leaderboards and multiple best plays. My kills for each of these games ranged from 70 (1.52 KD), 42 (1.9 KD), 35 (2.69 KD), and 26 (1.73 KD).

For your loadout, I highly recommend running a Semtex as your choice of Lethal, and either a Flash Grenade or a Shock Stick (once you've unlocked it at level 28) in Tactical. These are incredibly powerful, especially on smaller maps. If you're playing objective game modes like Domination , you can expect to rack up quite a few grenade kills each game.

Since I'm a more aggressive run-and-gun player, I'm running the following Perks:

Quick Fix for immediately triggering health regeneration when killing players or Ghost if you want to stay undetected by Enemy Callouts, UAVs, Portable Radars, and Heartbeat Sensors.

Battle Hardened , as tacticals are heavily used in MW4 and highly effective.

Killstreaks are more of a personal preference, but I've opted for UAV , Counter UAV , and the Attack Helicopter . These are particularly helpful if you want to earn more XP each game.
