Brewers vs Padres live updates; score, highlights from NLDS Game 4

We have live updates from the Milwaukee Brewers' playoff game against the San Diego Padres.

· 291 words

The Milwaukee Brewers have a second chance to close out their National League Division Series with the San Diego Padres when the teams meet for Game 4 on Wednesday night, Oct. 7, at Petco Park in San Diego.

The Brewers won the first two games of the best-of-five series in thrilling fashion at American Family Field. And they almost pulled off a sweep in Game 3, falling, 4-3, on Tuesday night, Oct. 6.

In Game 4, Milwaukee will need to avoid the mistakes it made the previous night – Cooper Pratt's throwing error led to a run that extended San Diego's lead to 4-2 and the Brewers left 11 runners on base – to snap their 12-game playoff road losing streak.

Left-hander Robert Gasser will start for the Brewers. He's 5-5 with a 3.87 ERA this season but has a 1.19 ERA in his last four starts. The Padres counter with right-hander Walker Buehler, who's 9-6 with a 4.63 ERA.
