Gruv’s 2 for $25 Sale on 4K Horror Movies Features Some Absolute Classics for Halloween

The lead-up to Halloween is a perfect time to watch (or re-watch) scary movies. It's spooky season, after all. If you're still searching for something to watch this year, though, it's worth having a look at Gruv. The online retailer - which is owned by Universal pictures , if you're new to it - has dropped a '2 for $25' 4K sale on a selection of horror movies , and it's stacked with some fun picks.

Shaun of the Dead (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

If you prefer classic horror, there's plenty to check out in this sale selection. A few different Alfred Hitchcock movies are mixed in, including Psycho and The Birds , but there's also picks like The Bride of Frankenstein and Dracula up for grabs.

It's actually quite a solid range to look through in terms of releases. Jumping ahead to the '80s, Poltergeist is another all-timer worth picking up, and there's also 1999's The Mummy available in this sale, which is a personal favorite of mine. It's a great time to rewatch that one as well, what with recent photos dropping of Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz returning to their roles for The Mummy 4 .

The Mummy (1999) (4K Ultra HD + Digital)

The Bride of Frankenstein (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

There's also excellent modern picks like The Invisible Man available, but that's certainly not the end. If you're curious to see what else is up, check out Gruv's Halloween Hi-Def Horror '2 for $25' 4K sale here . And while it doesn't seem to have a set end date on the store page, I'm guessing it's only available until the end of the month since it's specifically a Halloween sale. So, be quick to grab your favorites while it's still live.

If you're searching for more physical media sales to shop around in, Black Friday is worth keeping on your radar. This starts up towards the end of November next month, and marks one of our favorite times of year to buy 4K and Blu-ray movies on sale , so keep an eye out for more movie deals popping up around then.
