The New LEGO Shrek Minifigures Are Already on Sale at Amazon for Labor Day

· 375 words· updated September 7, 2026 at 04:59 PM

LEGO dropped its first official Shrek sets back in June, but it wasn't until this month that the first set of Shrek minifigures were released . There are 12 new minifigures in total and you'll need to make multiple purchases to collect them all. They are only available to buy as a single mystery box or as a six-pack of mystery boxes.

Thankfully, Amazon has already dropped the price on the six pack. Normally $30, you can now grab these packs for just under $25 during Labor Day .

The six pack includes a total of six sealed mystery boxes, each of which includes a single minifigure. With the single packs costing $5 on their own, this larger pack is by far the more economical way to go. It's also the only one currently getting a price cut. Here's a quick rundown of all 12 of the classic Shrek characters available to collect:

Most of the characters will also come with some sort of accessory as well. For a better look at all that's included, you can check out the official LEGO page . Note that only Amazon includes the discount, however.

The minifigures are a follow up the first two official Shrek sets that released back in June 2026 . There's the larger 18+ Shrek, Donkey, & Puss in Boots set (which features a Puss in Boots minifigure) as well as a set of BrickHeadz figures. The BrickHeadz sets aren't my favorite representation of these iconic Dreamworks characters, but the bigger build is quite wonderful.

IGN's Blythe Dujardin had the chance to put this set together and loved the overall experience and final product, saying: "What I do love about this set is that it feels like a real statue". You can see our full LEGO build review or flip through the slideshow below to check it out.
