There’s still your basic six star levels of police aggression, but GTA 6’s sophisticated new chase and surveillance mechanics make a much more granular system than before, with police now taking into account CCTV footage as well as witness phone calls to close in on you. But you also have more ways to evade them. Individual items of clothing are now taken into account, alongside the vehicle you’re driving, the severity of the crime, and even the company you keep.
