Magic: The Gathering’s Hobbit Play Boosters Just Hit a New Lowest-Ever Price Ahead of Black Friday
Magic: The Gathering’s Hobbit Play Boosters just hit a new lowest-ever price at Amazon ahead of Black Friday.
Black Friday might be a few weeks off, but Amazon may just be kicking things off early for fans of Magic: The Gathering’s latest trip to Middle-Earth.
The retailer has dropped the price of a Play Booster box, which includes 30 packs, by 33%. That makes it $139.99 instead of the MSRP of $207.95 , and ensures it’s comfortably the lowest price we’ve seen this box at since launch.
This Hobbit x Magic Price Cut Feels Like Black Friday Come Early
The Hobbit - Play Booster Box (30 Packs)
At this price, you’re getting each pack for just $4.66. Considering you’d usually be spending almost $7 per pack, that’s a steep discount that’s even better if you want to split a box with a buddy. Each pack includes a traditional foil and up to three Rare cards, with the possibility of alternate art cards, too.
It’s worth noting that we’re talking Play Boosters for this, so you’ll struggle to find some of the rarest cards in the set , but if you’re looking to build a collection quickly, this is a great way to do it without spending big money per pack.
Smaug, Wicked Worm (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Bard, King of Dale (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Thorin, Mountain-king (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Thranduil, the Elvenking (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
The Queen of Dale (Showcase) (Surge Foil)
Gandalf, Goblins' Bane (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
The Arkenstone (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Smaug the Magnificent (Showcase) (Surge Foil)
Gleaming Splendor (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
What you are getting, however, is a box-topper promo card. There’s one in every Play Booster, and include some great reprints from the Lord of the Ring’s set and full-art cards of Hobbit ones, too.
Orcish Bowmasters, The One Ring, Raise the Palisade, and more are all great cards - good luck!
