Robert Downey, Jr.'s Iron Man rarely stuck to just one suit of armor in his many MCU appearances, and it appears that the same will hold true for Downey's new character, Doctor Doom. Doom will wear at least two distinct suits of armor in Avengers: Doomsday , and now we've gotten a much better look at his secondary costume thanks to a new Hot Toys figure.

Having already revealed their standard Doctor Doom figure , Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles have now debuted the companion Victor von Doom figure. Get a closer look in the slideshow gallery below:

While this armor follows the same traditional Doom design aesthetic (green cloak and metal mask), it's quite a bit different from the other Doom suit seen in the film. It seems to be less an actual suit of armor and more a piece of regal formal wear. The green suit is more muted in color and completely covers up the armored components here. The mask is also completely different - smoother and less aggressive than the one on the Doctor Doom armor.

This suit appears to be the same one Downey's character was wearing during his initial appearance in the post-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps . Our best guess is that Doom will wear this suit in the early portions of Avengers: Doomsday, before his true power and motivations are made clear to Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Sideshow hasn't yet put the Victor von Doom figure up for preorder. But if the Doctor Doom figure is any indication, we'd expect it to cost around $285 and release in late 2027.

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18. Fans can get an early tease for the movie in the form of Avengers: Endgame Encore, which is set to be the longest MCU movie to date . Marvel also teased Doomsday by recreating the trailer in LEGO form .
