The Blacksmith Needs a Shop - Enshrouded Guide - IGN

After completing the Forge Weaponry or Armor quest, Oswald Ander's has another job for you. This time, he needs you to create him a shop. If you're wondering how to construct a shop for the Blacksmith to complete this quest, you'll find everything you need to know in this Enshrouded guide.

There are a couple of boxes you need to tick to craft the Blacksmith an appropriate shop. First, you must find or craft a building. Then, you must place a bed inside and assign it to the Blacksmith. That's all you technically need, but it's also a great idea to place other things the Blacksmith's might need in there, like his Forge, Charcoal Kiln, and Blast Furnace when you get them!

For now, though, all he needs is shelter and a warm place to sleep. You will likely be completing this quest early on in your adventure, so you will probably still be in the Springlands area. There are some ruins around the starting area, like in Rookmore or Longkeep . Those areas already have partially built structures that you can patch up and spruce up a bit to make them into your home base.

Alternatively, you can build a house from scratch. To do so, make sure you've got plenty of building materials in your inventory. You can craft those at the workbench . Then, equip your Construction Hammer and select a floor tile. Lay out a base in whatever shape feels good for you, then craft some walls to border it.

Place a roof on top to complete your building. It doesn't even need a door to count as shelter, although adding one is a good idea. Once your structure is complete, craft a bed to place in there. The most basic bed option is the Crude Mattress, which you can craft using the following materials:

4x Torn Cloth: Found by defeating enemies.

4x Plant Fiber: Gathered from bushes and shrubbery.

Place your bed inside the structure, then use your Summoning Staff to summon the Blacksmith to the area. Click on the bed to assign it to him and complete your quest!
