Golden State Valkyries ' high-intensity Game 3 against the Dallas Wings seemed to take a toll on head coach Natalie Nakase . The Bay Area coach appeared to collapse during the final minutes of her team's 77-73 victory on Friday.
With 1:40 remaining in the winner-take-all Game 3, Nakase was speaking with referees about a no-call involving Valkyries star Gabby Williams after Williams made a layup. Nakase then suddenly went down near the sideline.
She immediately started drawing up a play just moments after seemingly passing out . ESPN play-by-play announcer Ryan Ruocco noted the incident during the broadcast.

"Natalie Nakase having some sort of an episode on the floor for Golden State," Ruocco said. "Did she slip perhaps, going out onto the floor?"
Three Golden State assistant coaches immediately helped Nakase back up. She remained on the sideline as the Valkyries completed a 16-point comeback to secure their first playoff series victory in franchise history.
Burton finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes while playing a key role on both ends of the floor. Her 3-pointer with 5:38 remaining in the third quarter helped Golden State get on the scoreboard after a lengthy scoring drought.
Williams then delivered the biggest shot of the game, hitting a 17-foot pull-up jumper with 1:17 remaining to put the Valkyries ahead. She later made four free throws in the final 10 seconds to seal the victory.
The win sent Golden State into the WNBA semifinals, where it will face the No. 3 Las Vegas Aces. Game 1 is scheduled for Sunday at Chase Center.
