Magic: The Gathering’s 2026 roadmap includes a whopping seven sets this year, and the last one of the year is its fourth Universes Beyond property.

While Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles didn’t make as much of a splash as we’d have hoped, Marvel Superheroes and The Hobbit have been great - but what about Star Trek? The legendary sci-fi franchise feels like a natural evolution from last year’s Edge of Eternities, and while we’ve not gone hands-on just yet (we’re still having too much fun with Reality Fracture), it’s actually already seeing discounts.

If you’re looking to swiftly build up a collection of Star Trek cards, a Play Booster box at 19% off is one of the best ways to go.

Save Almost 20% on Star Trek Play Booster Boxes for Prime Day

What’s the number, you ask? The MSRP for a Universes Beyond Play Booster Box is $209.70, but this one is now selling for $170.61.

You get a foil in every pack (which may be exciting for you), but the big thing here is that you’re getting 30 packs. If you paid the MSRP, you’d be paying the actual MSRP of $6.99 per pack, so you wouldn’t be getting any discounts for buying a box in bulk.

On the other hand, with this deal, you’re spending $5.68 per pack, so you’re saving just over a dollar on each one.

If the price drops any further between now and launch, you’ll only ever pay the lowest amount thanks to Amazon’s Preorder Price Guarantee, so while you’re paying less already, that might even drop further. At the time of writing, however, this price is just shy of a new low - that was last week at around $165.

It’s worth noting that Play Boosters aren’t the packs you’ll want to reach for if you’re looking for the rarest cards, since those are much more likely to be found in Collector Boosters, which go for around $40 a pop (when you can find them).

Still, if you want to fill up a binder or put together some decks, this is a great way to go.
