Best Rezi 12 Loadout and Build - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Guide - IGN

While the Rezi-12 might not be the best gun in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 , it is hands down the best Shotgun when you pair it with the right attachments. So, if you're chasing a fast-firing shotgun that has no trouble one-shotting enemies in close range, and can challenge highly mobile meta guns like the M4 and ISO Nightshade , this Rezi-12 loadout has got you covered.

So, which attachments does the Rezi 12 need to perform at its best? After spending several hours maxing out the shotgun, I've compiled the best Rezi 12 loadout that will have you shredding your opponents.

For this build, I've focused heavily on increasing the Rezi 12's range and handling. I've opted for this route since it not only makes the gun incredibly easy to handle in fast-paced combat, but it can now compete with the likes of the M4 and ISO Nightshade at close to medium range. You will find the Rezi 12 requires two shots to kill at longer medium-range encounters when ADS, but since it is quick firing, you can still beat out ARs and SMGs if you're quick enough. You'll have much more success with the Rezi 12 on smaller maps like Transit 213, Cachette, and Shipment.

Here's our recommended best attachments for the Rezi 12:

As you'd expect from a default Shotgun, it's lacking range. That's why I've opted for the ZLR Rogue 90 " Barrel , and EXP Firelite 12 Muzzle , as they offer a combined 29% increase to our bullet velocity, as well as boosted damage range and ADS recoil. This is what makes the Rezi 12 viable against better guns .

ADS Speed does take a hit, but we counter it with the Schlager Visiv-5 , No Stock , and XRK Bygone-39 attachments, which all offer significant increases to handling and mobility.

Killstreaks: UAV, Counter UAV, Attack Helicopter

For your loadout, I highly recommend running a Semtex as your choice of Lethal, and either a Flash Grenade or a Shock Stick (once you've unlocked it at level 28) in Tactical. These are incredibly powerful, especially on smaller maps. If you're playing objective game modes like Domination , you can expect to rack up quite a few grenade kills each game.

Since I'm a more aggressive run-and-gun player, I'm running the following Perks:

Quick Fix for immediately triggering health regeneration when killing players or Ghost if you want to stay undetected by Enemy Callouts, UAVs, Portable Radars, and Heartbeat Sensors.

Blood Rush for Tactical Sprint, but you could also opt for Fast Hands if you find the Rezi 12's reload time difficult.

Battle Hardened , as tacticals are heavily used in MW4 and highly effective.

Killstreaks are more of a personal preference, but I've opted for UAV , Counter UAV , and the Attack Helicopter . These are particularly helpful if you're wanting to earn more XP each game.
