The WD Green SN3000 is fast for a "budget" M.2 SSD. This is a DRAM-less PCI-E 4x4 drive equipped with SanDisk's QLC 3D NAND memory and boasting transfer speeds of up to 5,000MB/s read and 4,200MB/s write. This is an ideal boot drive for your gaming PC, but it's also fully compatible with the PlayStation 5 console. It's a bit under Sony's recommended minimum requirement of 5,5000MB/s, but you likely won't notice the speed difference except maybe during game installations when you are moving large files.

Installing an SSD in your PlayStation 5 console is super easy and won't void your warranty. It's also a near essential upgrade.
