Bloodline Awakening - Phantom Blade Zero Guide - IGN

Bloodline Awakening is one of the Purple Story Quests in Phantom Blade Zero . While these are optional, they contain some of the most important content in the game and Bloodline Awakening has five impressive boss fights tied to this optional quest.

To start the quest, you need to complete Deep In The Valley and gain access to the Base Camp in the Weeping Creek Valley. A full guide on this quest can be found here.

From there, you need to head to the back of the base camp and follow the path eastwards past the Lóng Pillar Overlook bell and across the bridge. Pass the watchtower and when you see a boulder you can push, jump down off the cliff and then up the ladder to some wooden rafters.

To the right, you can find a locked door. To unlock this door, you need to find the Rusted Loong Key. You should already have this as it is in the chest next to the Lóng Pillar Overlook bell.

Follow it through until you meet the strange dragon pillar. Interact with it to begin a boss fight against The Gold-Masked One. Whether you succeed or are defeated, this will begin the quest properly.

This part of the quest involves defeating five challenges across each of the game's regions. The first of which is here at the Weeping Creek Valley against The Gold-Masked One.
