Bucks join Brewers World Series party with five-word post

The Milwaukee Bucks may be struggling, but the Milwaukee Brewers are winning.

The Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-1, in Game 5 of the World Series at Tropicana Field on Wednesday to claim their first-ever title.

William Contreras, Cooper Pratt, and Jacob Misiorowski starred in the historic victory, making light work of the Rays, who staved off a sweep in Game 4 on Tuesday.

The Bucks joined the celebration by saluting the Brewers on X.

"WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS. Congratulations, Brewers!"

The Brewers are a source of pride in Cream City, especially with the Bucks having a terrible start. They lost to the Houston Rockets , 132-100, at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday, dropping to 1-4.

Tyler Herro had 23 points and three rebounds, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 19 points and four rebounds.

It is worth noting that Herro grew up cheering for the Brewers. He must be very happy for his childhood squad.

Fans could not help but roast the Bucks after the Brewers' triumph.

"Sacrificed Giannis (Antetokounmpo) for a World Series championship," said @boofpackbuck.

"Brewers in World Series: WWWLW. Bucks in first five games: LLLWL," noted @jend04_.

"How long until the Bucks get back there?" asked @TheMidwayTake.

"Only Milwaukee sport that will win a championship," claimed @J1P7H.

"Rockets spanked y'all tonight, BTW 😂," commented @BronsHoodi.

The Bucks can only hope to go on an inspired run like the Brewers.. They are navigating a rebuilding period, with Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis Jr., and Kevin Porter Jr. no longer with the team.

Milwaukee will battle the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.
