Pokémon TCG’s Final 2026 Set Is Already Causing Even More Preorder Chaos
Find out where to preorder Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign at MSRP in the US and UK before Elite Trainer Boxes and Booster Displays sell out.
The upcoming Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign expansion officially launches on November 6, 2026. It's the last announced Pokémon TCG set for 2026 , continuing Pokémon TCG’s spotlight on Mega Evolution Pokémon with the return of Mega Rayquaza, last seen in Ancient Origins in 2015.
For reference, here’s a quick overview of what’s available in the Delta Reign lineup.
A collector favourite, the ETB includes 9 booster packs, exclusive promo cards, card sleeves, energy cards, and game accessories.
The classic booster box comes with 36 booster packs. This is the best option if you want to maximise your chances of opening all the set's chase cards or do large pack openings.
Last, but by no means least, Booster Bundles include six booster packs from the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign expansion, each with 10 cards, 1 Basic Energy, and 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card.
Initial pre-orders went live on the Pokémon Center at the end of September, and it was a bloodbath. Queues were 12 hours long, and fans reported numerous tech issues.
Oh well that Pokemon Center drop was a shit show, tons of errors and selling out that quick with reduced limits? If you want to get your hands on this set, you’ll need to be quick. Here are the best places to check out if you want to secure any of the products.

Your best bet to buy Delta Reign at MSRP is the Pokémon Center UK and US. MSRP for Delta Reign is $59/£56.99 for the Elite Trainer Box (ETB).
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution-Delta Reign Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box
The first wave has been, but it’s likely that there will be more soon. Keep an eye on this page for more information.
At the Pokemon Center, you can also pick up the exclusive Elite Trainer Box, which features extra promo items and metallic coins/dice not found in standard retail ETBs. For this expansion, you'll get 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Kyogre with a Pokémon Center logo.
You can also try your luck at securing the booster and display boxes - these usually stick around a bit longer than an ETB. Unfortunately, right now - these are also all sold out!

If you don’t manage to get lucky at the standard retail offerings, you can always check out TCGplayer - a third party reseller that will offer preorders. Unfortunately, you’re likely to pay extra here due to the third party sellers looking to capitalize. In saying that, if you’re desperate to get some pulls, or lock in your booster boxes, case pre-orders, and bundle deals, this is run by hobbyists who usually put up pre-orders early. Just bear in mind it’s not 100% guaranteed if you order from here.

For the 30th Celebration set, Amazon UK and US did a lottery system where you had to sign up for the MSRP. This helped with queues and demand. It’s unclear right now whether they’ll repeat this for Delta Reign. Currently, there are no listings. As one of the biggest retailers out there, Amazon usually gets a good amount of stock, so keep an eye out for these!
Best Buy is a pretty good shout when it comes to Pokémon TCG orders. To boost your chances, look into My Best Buy Plus - a membership program that costs $29.99 per year. You can get members-only prices on certain products, an extended return window, free expedited shipping. and exclusive early access to TCG pre-orders.
Walmart is known for videos showing people scrambling for the last ETB on the shelves, but you can skip the launch-day chaos by pre-ordering online. You could sign up for Walmart+ for $98 a year or $12.95 a month. This membership gives you free delivery from stores on orders over $35, gas discounts of 10 cents per gallon, and access to Paramount+ or Peacock streaming. That’s a pretty good deal!
Magic Madhouse is a really good choice for UK Trainers, especially if you’re hunting down singles. Currently, there’s no listing yet, but with the Pokémon Center pre-orders dropping, they’re only usually a few weeks behind.
If you prefer buying in-store, Smyths Toys is a great option. There is an online option too, but they usually sell out quikc. Check your local stores availability online to see what’s in stock!
Just bring some protective gear if you go to an in-person launch event, just in case. I’m joking. Kinda.
Argos is a bit of a Calyrex (dark horse, hah) when it comes to stocking Pokémon cards. They’re not the most reliable, but they do occasionally have stock.
Unlike the 30th Celebration, which was the first-ever simultaneous global release, Delta Reign is out now in Japan, known as Storm Esmerelda. Unsurprisingly, the biggest chase card is the star of the show, the Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Ultra Rare. Illustrated by takuyoa, this card reached an all-time high on TCGPlayer of $2,166.69.
But there’s loads of gorgeous chase cards in here. If there’s a single you’re after in particular, it might be worth checking out places like TCGPlayer to save some money in the long run.
I imagine, with the popularity of Mega Rayquaza, Delta Reign might be a mad rush for stock. Fingers crossed the prices stay low!
