All Deku-Nut Bag Upgrade Locations - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Guide - IGN

Deku-Nut Bag determines how many Deku Nuts you can carry at a time in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake. By default you can hold 20 Deku Nuts, but this capacity can be quickly upgraded to 40.

Just like the other Deku gear, both Deku-Nut Bag upgrades are found in the Lost Woods. The first upgrade is located in a grotto at the very end of the Lost Woods, next to the doorway to Sacred Grove. You will need the Bombs to clear the boulder and get inside.

Once inside, use the Kokiri Shield to reflect the Business Scrub's attacks back at them, causing them to surrender. Speak to the one on the left and he will offer you the Bigger Deku-Nut Bag upgrade for 40 Rupees.

For the second upgrade, you’ll first need to borrow the Mask of Truth from the Happy Mask Shop in Castle Town. Then, head over to Lost Woods and make your way to the Forest Stage. If you haven't been there before, it is: right, left, right, left, left from the front entrance . Look in the grass toward the back to find the entrance.

Once in the Forest Stage, get on the pedestal and equip the Mask of Truth. This will cause the Scrubs to get scared. Speak to the Scrub Leader.

He will give you the Biggest Deku-Nut Bag free of charge, upgrading your capacity to 40.
