The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Is Up for Preorder

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is set to release exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5. A from-the-ground-up remake of one of the most beloved video games of all time, it features improved visuals and playability both on the TV and on the go. As is Nintendo's custom this console generation , there’s a $10 price difference between physical and digital copies of the game, with physical copies being more expensive. The MSRP for the game is $59.99 for digital copies and $69.99 for physical copies. For what it's worth, for physical copies, the full game comes on the cartridge .

For other recent Switch 2 exclusive, including Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Switch Sports Resort, both Amazon and Walmart have cut $10 off the price of the physical version ahead of launch. Then, once the game is out, the price goes back up. Either or both retailers may end up tweaking their prices before the game comes out.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is a full remake of the 1998 Nintendo 64 original game.

This isn’t the first time Ocarina has been remade. A 3D version of the game was released for Nintendo 3DS in 2011. It had improved graphics and a number of quality of life improvements over the original. The original N64 version of Ocarina of Time is also available on Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack.
