Magic: The Gathering's Hobbit Bundle Drops to Just $60 on Amazon
Save $10 on the Magic: The Gathering The Hobbit Booster Bundle at Amazon as part of its early Prime Day deals. Get 9 Play Boosters, foil lands, and an oversized spindown die for a new all time low price.
While not as much of a standout as the recent restock price-drop combo of the MTG x The Hobbit Gift Bundle at Walmart that we saw yesterday, this brand-new deal at Amazon is still worth checking out if you're keen on picking up some cards for the latest Universes Beyond set.
Down to $59.99, dropping from $69.99 , this is the best price we've seen on the standard Hobbit Magic booster bundle so far (and a 90-day low, according to Amazon).
The bundle comes with nine Play Boosters, giving you plenty of chances to pull some of the set's more sought-after cards, along with an alternate-art Traditional Foil card. You also get a sizeable stack of lands, including 19 Traditional Foil Land cards, nine of which feature full-art designs, plus another 15 regular Land cards, five of which are full-art.
In total, that's 34 Land cards to help build out your next Middle-earth deck, including 10 full-art Middle-earth Journey lands, five of which get the Traditional Foil treatment. There are also four Traditional Foil full-art Seasonal Hobbit lands, giving the bundle a little extra collector appeal beyond its boosters.
Rounding things out are an oversized Spindown life counter, a card storage box, and two reference cards. At $59.99, you're essentially getting the bundle's assortment of extras and lands alongside those nine boosters, making this a pretty decent way to jump into The Hobbit without paying full price.
Smaug, Wicked Worm (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Bard, King of Dale (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Thorin, Mountain-king (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Thranduil, the Elvenking (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
The Queen of Dale (Showcase) (Surge Foil)
Gandalf, Goblins' Bane (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
The Arkenstone (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
Smaug the Magnificent (Showcase) (Surge Foil)
Gleaming Splendor (Borderless) (Surge Foil)
So, what's the big draw? As I mentioned, you get nine Play Boosters in the box, and while the most valuable cards in the set are exclusive to Collector Boosters, you're still in with a chance to finding these even in just the basic packs as well.
Smaug? Bard? Gandalf? What’ll it be? Well, that’s the point, really: you could crack open a bunch of neat rare cards, or you could pay next month’s rent by pulling a Gleaming Splendor. Either way, it's a jolly good time, and a lot cheaper to do so as well right now.
If you're after even more boosters, the best deal right now is also at Amazon, where you can get the Play Booster Display Box for $189.98, down from $209.70.
