Viral Gaming Toilet Chair Appears to Resurface Via Facebook Marketplace — Listed as in 'Used' Condition, for $500

A viral fan-made Fortnite toilet chair made infamous via TikTok has apparently resurfaced via Facebook Marketplace, with the item priced at $500 and listed as in "used" condition.

The so-called "Battle Bucket" was the subject of a now-deleted 2023 TikTok video from user @usecodelitty200iq, who explained the home-made contraption was the reason he could "play Fortnite for so long without going to the bathroom."

The Battle Bucket is essentially a flip chair with a crude hole cut into the seat, and an orange five gallon Home Depot bucket underneath. A curved length of piping has also been placed at the front of the seat, arcing down into the bucket's base. On the back of the chair, a G Fuel sticker has been artfully placed.

"I call this the Fortnite Battle Bucket," @usecodelitty200iq described at the time. "It has two holes. One for going number one, and another for going number two," he continued, pointing to the pipe and seat hole in quick succession.

While the original video has now been removed, numerous examples of it remain online via reuploads. And now, the device itself appears to have resurfaced for real, via an X account that supposedly spotted it listed on Facebook marketplace. Certainly, the listing includes a high-quality photo of the Battle Bucket not part of the original video, suggesting whoever is behind it has access to the real thing.

"I've had this for a few years and used it almost daily," the listing reads. "Has been thoroughly cleaned and works beautifully." And then, one final note: "Real offers only! No lowballs I know what I got."

As a functioning replacement for going to the bathroom, or indeed a replacement for operating as a functional human being, this seems unlikely to raise $500. As a piece of internet history, well, it still seems unlikely to raise $500. And although the listing claims the viral chair has been cleaned, I'd still be worried of a different kind of viral issue when sitting down on it.

Here's hoping we hear more on the Fortnite Battle Bucket, if and when the sale proceeds. In the meantime, the internet has certainly been having its fun with the listing, with comments from various brands piling in.

"Powered by yours truly," wrote the official G Fuel social media account. "It's been an honor to serve you 🫡."

"Adding this to the list of banned items at LAN," wrote UK esports event organiser Epic.LAN.
