This is a continuation of IGN's walkthrough for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse . In this section, we'll be focusing on the Library as we explore it to find the Occultist, the next boss, and Tarot, which you'll be unlocking after having explored sections of the Main Hall to find the Artist . You can follow along with this playthrough to review the previous sections here .

We start at the Library entrance connecting from the Main Hall, from the Bridge of Knowledge.

Make your way across the Bridge of Knowledge, and head through the first glowing door. This will bring you to the Library Entrance, where you'll find several knights with lances waiting for you, whom you'll need to dispatch.

After dealing with them, there's an interactable you can listen to where Rose tells those within her Tarot about the time she spent in her family library, reading books and arcane spells with her father. Once you're finished listening, use the purple anchor on the right side of the room to lift yourself up and reach the yellow anchor above your head. Swing up and through the top grate, and proceed to the next glowing door.

Here, you'll come across a new platforming effect. It looks like a small bubble, with a ring around it. When Rose jumps on it, she bounces, allowing her to remain in the air. You can use it to reach the next platform, and you can expect to find these throughout your time in the Library.

Advance forward and head to the next room where you'll find a handful of foes and one red skeleton. Take out the others, but don't bother with the skeleton, as it cannot be killed. From the platform here, use the next jumping bubble to cross the large gap in the room and make your way to the next glowing door, bringing you to the Poetry Shelves.

In this section, you'll find multiple spikes pointing up from the ground on the right side of the room. You'll need to take the three jumping bubbles up to reach the top one, and then jump to the upper left to reach the purple anchor.

From the purple anchor, jump to the right, and onto the jumping bubble at the center of the room, and swing across using the yellow anchor, bringing you to another pair of jumping bubbles. You only need to jump onto the top one to reach the upper platform.

Defeat the skeleton foes at the top. Before you get too far, there's a small gap in the leftmost wall. Dive underneath it, and you'll be able to jump below and destroy the XP statue that was above the entrance of the Poetry Shelves. You'll need to repeat the previous jumping puzzle, but you'll have netted yourself more XP.

After repeating the puzzle and returning to that upper platform, jump up onto the jumping bubble above where you slid under the wall, and make your way up. There are a handful of enemies you can dispatch, and a glowing door to your right.

Above the glowing door is a purple anchor. Use it, and you'll reveal a hidden path that will take you to the Brave Heart on the left side of the room. From the purple anchor is a jumping bubble, with two smaller ones that are rotating around each other. You want to try to get it when one of those bubbles is pointed toward the glowing door, as if it were pointing at the 4 o'clock number on a clock. From there, stay at that point, and lean forward to grab the purple anchor above the Brave Heart. This might take you a few attempts to get it just right.

With the Brave Heart added to your collection, go through the glowing door, and you'll enter the next section of the Poetry Shelves.

You'll head to the bottom section of this new room with multiple enemies that you have to deal with, and one red skeleton. After taking out those foes (but not the red skeleton), head to the purple anchor on the right side, and use the jumping bubble to bounce upward. When you reach the top, use the yellow anchor to swing to the left, across the floor spikes.

Once you reach the left side as far as you can with your swing, there's a purple anchor that you need to attach yourself to and fling yourself upward with another jumping bubble above you.

Reach the height of that jump to attach to the purple anchor on the right side, landing on the platform in front of the knight with a lance. Defeat the knight, and use the whip attack on the undead archer above you to reach the upper platform, taking you through another glowing door and bringing you to the Rhetoric Shelves area.

Immediately when you appear in the room, there are a pair of undead archers who will fire arrows at you. Dodge or jump out of the way, and deal with them as quickly as possible. You can use the jumping bubbles in the middle of the room to reach them fast, or use your whip lash to leap up to them. There are a pair of red skeletons on the ground floor that you can ignore.

With both defeated, head to the right side, and you'll enter a Mirror of Life room, providing you with a solid checkpoint for the Library. This Mirror of Life is for the Rhetoric Shelves.

After unlocking this Mirror of Life, proceed to the right side through the glowing door, and you'll enter the Planetarium, a large room close to the heart of the Library. You want to proceed to the far right side of the room and make it to the next glowing door. However, the wall opposite this door is a hidden path that you can break, revealing a Ferryman's Wharf door. Make sure to head inside and unlock it before proceeding further to the right, entering the Lecture Room.

When you enter the Lecture Room, you'll encounter a new enemy, a large, blue sphere with multiple faces on it. The sphere will fade in and out of reality, and when it does settle in for a few seconds, it fires multiple projectiles at you from its face.

You'll need to hit it while it's in this phase, using a whip attack to close the distance or using one of your Arcana. The Fists of Talos or Holy Cross are exceptionally strong against it. After it's dispatched, use the purple anchor to reach the right side of the room, destroying the wall and discovering another glowing door.

Through the door is the Astronomer's Office. Head all the way to the right side and break through the door, entering the office proper, and you'll find a glowing desk available for you to search at this location. It reveals a new clue about the Occultist, known as the Star Charts.

Not only is this an important clue for The Occultist, but this is a critical piece of information for you to successfully navigate the Library. With this clue, head back to the Planetarium.

Here, at the bottom of this section, is a rotating sphere above a bed of spikes. There's an image of a man with two arms and legs on each side, also known as the Vitruvian Man, originally created by Leonardo da Vinci.

Refer back to the Star Chart clue you got from the Astronomy's Office, and you'll see that there are four stars on the bottom of this image highlighted, and this image matches the jumping bubbles rotating around this image. You need to hit the bottom four bubbles without hitting the top two.

When those are matched, the sphere itself changes, adding a new jumping bubble at the top. Take it, and it launches you to the top, allowing you to reach the glowing door at the very top of this room, and you can advance to the Observation Tower.

There is another Vitruvian Man back at the Astronomy Office, where you acquired the Star Chart. You can return there to unlock that section, rewarding you with an XP statue for completing it. However, expect fights in that room and in the Lecture Room as you return to the Planetarium!

In the Observation Tower, destroy the door to your left, and head to the statue above the entrance.

It's another of Dracula's statues that Rose can interact with to learn more information. Here, the statue reveals that the Occultist had stolen the Artist's paintbrush (which you might remember Brauner had been complaining about before). She has his paintbrush, and if you want to get it, you'll need to defeat the Occultist.

Before you go much further, make sure to jump down through the grate on the right and destroy the door on this side. Although this area did open up for you, it's better to head back down to the Planetarium. You want to make your way down and use the right yellow anchor beneath your drop, then swing to the right side. This will take you to a platform on the right, allowing you to enter another section of the Library. Take note of the second sphere you're passing by, a female version of the Vitruvian figure, as this is likely another clue we'll have to learn about as we continue exploring.

Here, you'll enter the Exhibition Room. There's an undead archer above you that you can reach using your whip attack, or jump to it using the bubble sphere. To the left of the archer is a hidden door passage full of ghouls. Dispatch them, and behind them you'll find an XP statue you can grab before returning to your path on the right.

Take out the lance knights on the platform on the right path, and then use your Halo to bypass the shards to land on the jumping sphere above the spikes. From here, keeping your Halo off, wall jump all the way to the leftmost corner, against the shards, and then activate your Halo to go through the right side, turning it off once you're through and land on the shards below, above the spikes. A skeleton with a boomerang is on the right, in front of the glowing door.

This brings you to the Trophy Room, where a massive fight will break out. Expect to take on multiple floating skulls, the blue sphere with faces, a pair of undead archers at the top of this area, and a red skeleton at the bottom. Take out the blue sphere with faces and the undead archers. Unfortunately, the red skeleton and the floating skulls will continue to spawn throughout your time here. You want to make your way to the upper right platform and through the glowing door on that side.

You'll enter the Curiosity Cabinet and have to jump down through a grate at the beginning. Here, multiple ghouls rush you from behind, with foes in front of you. After dispatching them, make your way to the right, and there's another spinning female version of the Vitruvian. You need to take it to the top right of the room and enter a hallway where, below you, is a glowing door with a purple anchor.

However, before going too far, there's a Relic you can unlock at this location. Jump above the grate, and you'll discover a purple anchor. Use it to take yourself upward, and bounce up on the jumping bubbles to the top, where another purple anchor awaits you. Use it, and then perform Talos' smash downward, dropping you to the lower levels.

Proceed to the left, and follow the pathway down until you reach the lever. Upon hitting the lever, a Werewolf will appear, and you'll have to fight it in this close location before you can make your way down to the right side again. The wall in the hallway should lift up, allowing you to unlock the chest on the far right side. Inside the chest is Revenant's Shard ( Rose recovers 10% extra mana by killing enemies ).

You can now make your way back up and through the glowing door on the right side. This brings you to the Condemned Shelves.

Here, you'll drop down from the starting grate and swing across using the yellow anchor below you. Let go of the anchor, activating your Halo to bypass the shards. Immediately through the shards, use your whip to reach out on the far, far right, and attach to the purple anchor at the center of the jumping bubbles. You have to carefully time your jump to make it to the right side, likely using the purple anchor to keep yourself from falling into the pit of spikes below.

When you have a good bounce, activate your Halo and jump to the right side. You'll find a purple anchor on the other side, and you can deactivate your Halo. You'll then need to wall-leap to the upper part, where you'll find a trio of knights with lances waiting for you, next to a glowing door.
