“Karl Saw That Her Potential Isn’t Only In The Paint” – WNBA Fans Erupt As Angel Reese Hones 3-Pt Shot Amid Shooting Breakthrough

Angel Reese has been nothing short of legendary in the 2026 WNBA Finals, as the Atlanta Dream leads the series 2-1. The Golden State Valkyries were the best defensive team this season, led by talented players like Gabby Williams. However, Reese has overpowered everyone so far, and her practice routine has now taken the internet by storm.

Reese led the team to a Game 3 win in Atlanta in front of the home crowd, scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in 34 minutes. Moreover, her 3-point shooting, which drew heavy criticism during the regular season, has improved. She shot 2-for-2 from deep and garnered praise from veterans.

Meanwhile, the Dream player was seen practicing her long-range shots before Game 4 of the WNBA Finals.

Meanwhile, fans were impressed with Reese's workout, as one pointed out Dream head coach Karl Smesko's impact on her form:

"I'm so happy Karl saw that her potential isn't only in the paint🥹," one fan wrote.

Reese is averaging 21.7 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 block per game in the final series. Her impact on both ends of the floor has been great, and she has put forward a strong case for the Finals MVP title.

Angel Reese reveals her mental game against the Valkyries

Angel Reese is one of the most intense players on the court, often through trash talk and mind games. The Finals have also featured intense, competitive moments involving the 2026 Defensive Player of the Year.

In a conversation with the media, Reese shared her secret to success in the ongoing series:

"You can see it in their emotions and facial expressions. A lot of us are looking at that, making sure we can find any little thing to give us that edge and have our leverage over them."

Angel Reese and the Dream are in a strong spot in the series and just a couple of games away from the title. Game 4 tips off Saturday as fans await who picks up the championship this season.
