The latest Batman movie is now available to buy digitally. Knightfall Part 1 is a direct-to-video animated DC movie, but that doesn't mean it isn't an excellent take on the Caped Crusader. We loved it enough to award it an impressive 9 out of 10 in our review .

Batman: Knightfall Part 1 - Knightfall is the start of a new trilogy of animated Batman films. It's based on one of the best Batman graphic novels of all time and is absolutely worth checking out.

Knightfall Part 1 isn't available in theaters, so buying the movie digitally through a VOD service like Prime Video is your only option if you want to watch it right now . If you don't mind waiting until September 8, however, there's a 4K UHD and Blu-ray you can preorder for a bit more money.

With the first part of the trilogy out now, you're likely wondering when exactly you can expect the second part to drop. While we don't have a hard release date for Knightfall Part 2 just yet, we do know that it's supposed to arrive sometime later in 2026. The final entry in the trilogy has been confirmed for early 2027 as well.

As for new live-action Batman movies , you're going to have to wait even longer still. The Batman: Part 2 was pushed back to 2028 and we still don't have a release date for James Gunn's The Brave and the Bold .
