Community Showdown is back and bigger than ever!

The first edition of the Community Showdown was a massive success, with over 20 tournament organizers bringing their communities together to claim a share of the $5,000 USD prize pool and more than 2 million FACEIT Points. Leading community names from around the globe joined the showdown, with over 400 teams participating, featuring teams from Ex Oblivione, Battletech, Grupo Senju, and many other communities, the tournament crowned Team Shikigami from the Overwatch Season community and Team Schweppes from the Hammerkick community as respective champions of the NA and EMEA regions.

Community Showdown is one of the largest Overwatch community competitions of 2024, and this second iteration promises to be even grander!

Introducing Community Showdown II with $7,500 and 3 Million FACEIT Points up for grabs

Starting 7th of December 2024, communities will compete across a variety of tournaments to secure a slot in the Community Showdown finals, taking place on 4th and 5th of January 2025. In total, $7,500 USD and over 3 million FACEIT Points are up for grabs for the participating teams. Here’s what to expect from Community Showdown II:

Selected third-party tournament organizers will host tournaments in their preferred format, qualifying their top teams for the $7,500 Community Showdown II finals.

100K FACEIT Points will be awarded to each organizer to support their tournament’s prize pool.

Each organizer will have the freedom to stream their competition, support co-streams, and create content on their channels without any restrictions.
