Avalanche Announce 2026 Training Camp Roster

The Colorado Avalanche released their training camp roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season on Tuesday. They'll have 29 forwards, 20 defensemen, and seven goalies in attendance.

Camp begins with media day on Wednesday, followed by three consecutive days of on-ice sessions from Thursday to Saturday. The preseason begins on Sunday at Ball Arena.

This will be the first year under the new collective bargaining agreement, where training camp and preseason are accelerated. When the Avs take the ice on Thursday, it'll be just 13 days before opening night. They will also play just four preseason games with veterans who have played more than 100 career games capped at just two games.
